Marine Insurance Terms & Conditions

Insured:	Consigner’s or Consignee’s name as may be required
By:	Sea and / or air and / or conveyances as may be declared.
Voyage:	To or from Australia as may be declared.
Interest:	Goods and / or merchandise and /or interest to be declared and valued.
Basis of Valuation:	Cost, insurance and freight plus 10 % or as may be agreed, but household / personal furniture as declared by insured party.
Conditions:	* As declared in accordance with rating schedules * Institute standard conditions or cargo contracts * Duty Clause (imports) if required * FOB / C&F Pre-shipment clause for imports if required
Excess:	In accordance with Rating Schedules.
Certificates:	To be issued for any one consignment as required.
Payment:	Insurance policy comes into place only when monies are fully accounted for and cleared by our bank.

"The Insurer"
The insurer is Zurich Australian Insurance Ltd (Zurich) ABN 13 000 296 640 AFS licence number 232507 5 Blue Street, North Sydney NSW 2059. Associated Marine Insurers Agents Pty Ltd (Associated Marine) ABN 41 006 104 007 AFS licence number 235383 is agent for Zurich. Under its arrangements with Zurich, Associated Marine provides all services in relation to Home Removals and Commercial Cargo which includes dealing with and settling claims. Associated Marine is wholly owned by Zurich Financial Services Australia Ltd ABN 11 008 423 372."

The cover provided is a comprehensive plain English wording offering differing cover options ranging from 'all risks' to defined perils.  A copy of the full policy wordings can be provided on request.
