I wish to refer to your facsimile transmission of 18 May 1995 seeking information concerning availability of facilities for your tourist radio transmitter on Council land at Karawatha Street, Springwood.

I have had the matter investigated and in consideration of the extent of development on the site the Council has concluded that the area is fully committed in relation to transmission devices.

Consequently Council would not entertain any further requests for erection of such equipment there.

The question of signage promoting Tourist Radio would seem to be one for the Queensland Department of Transport which controls the major highways passing through Logan.
